2008 Women's Expo

Join the Yargo Community Band for the Ultimate Girl’s Day Out. This event caters to every aspect of a woman’s life and will feature exhibits, seminars, shopping, health & wellness, food samples and entertainment. Women represent 85% of consumer purchases, so focusing on women delivers the best to everyone! We have a fun day in store for you! At the 2008 Expo you can visit local artists who will be displaying and selling their art. Other vendors at the 2008 Expo will feature collectibles, resources for women entrepreneurs, health and wellness, fitness, beauty, and fashion. Come see the latest styles from Chicos or get a custom bra fitting from Soma Intimates. Stop by for an instant manicure or find out about photography and videography for your family. Sample food from local restaurants and see a cooking demonstration for busy women courtesy of Publix. See home improvement and automotive maintenance/repair tips geared specifically towards today’s woman.  Health concerns?  The Barrow County Health Department will be on hand from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm doing free blood sugar and cholesterol screenings and Family Health Associates Drs. Audrey and BJ Huff will host a women's health seminar.

 

Become part of our larger community - Register to Vote - a booth will be provided just for this by the Barrow County Voter Registration office. Our goal is to have something for every part of a woman’s busy life.
