Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation

In honor of all child victims in Barrow County, we will decorate the lawn of the hospital with Pinwheels. We invite all concerned citizens to join us for this annual event. A child's life should be safe and carefree. THe pinwheel is a symbol of the playfulness and joy of childhood. In April, there are colorful pinwheels on display in communities throughout Georgia reminding us to value the children in our lives everyway all year long. We all have a role to play. Together, we can assure the safety, well-being and future of Georgia's Children.
