Healthy bones are critical for active, independent living, but too many people wait until they have a broken bone before taking action. A series of free Bone Health Workshops will help adult participants get proactive and follow a roadmap for better bone health. Each of the three events will feature presentations from a physician, a nutritionist, and a physicial therapist. Topics include osteoporosis treatment, healthful eating, and bone-healthy exercise and activity. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited, and registration is required. Free parking is available. These Bone Health Workshops are presented by American Bone Health and Northeast Georgia Medical Center with educational support provided by Medtronic.
